[PRODIG] PS7 .jpeg resave

Dear List Members,

Again, apologies in advance if this has been covered, as I have only recently upgraded to PS 7.0 and thus have been remiss in reading post regarding it's specific issues. An answer to my previous posting about an easily fixed (thank you) problem with PS6 & Classic Mode also said it would be easier to upgrade to PS7 than to address the issues with PS6 in Classic (not that there are many/any). As mentioned above, I did upgrade, but the reason I still use 6.0 from time to time is one large problem I have with PS7.
The problem I am having is when I resave .jpg files created by my D1X as .jpg from PS7, they intermittently become unusable. I have not been able to recover/open them in anything. I seem to remember hearing something about this but wanted to find out if it was isolated to the D1X or maybe even just to my system. If anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
