If all you want to scan is up to medium format. Get the minolta scan
multi pro. Its cheaper than the Nikon and works just as well.

As previosly discussed heavily on the list the nikon sags with 120 and
you don�t get sharp scans, so you have to buy the 120 glass neg holder,
the minolta comes with one as standard plus has the highest dpi for 35mm
on the market.

I think they are roughly about �1700+vat.

I think people have tested the differences bewteen scanners on the list
and found the Minolta to be very good if not better then a flextight.

When using the minolta I believe you can use vuescan as well where as
you cant on the flextight.

If you need to scan 5/4 then you are maybe stuck with the flextight.

I think you will find others have plumped for the minolta on the list
and been really happy.
