[PRODIG] LISTOWNER MESSAGE please read

Dear Listees

WE ARE TRYING TO LIMIT THE UNWITTING BROADCAST OF PEOPLES EMAIL ADDRESSES.
And so would like to recruit Listees help in the way they reply to the List.

This is something which is 100% in your interests.

Thank you to all those who have already take remedial action.


Please can I make another request to those that have not done so so far......


DO NOT place any email address in the body of messages sent to Prodig!

This includes......

1.
In the "messages from" line of a reply
eg.
"on 2/12/02 6:38 PM, John Doe Williams at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:"

(ie. please exclude/delete the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" bit)

2.
Also in Signatures or other footers

3.
SENDERS OF MESSAGES CAN ALSO HELP......
It is more likely that your email address will be quoted if it only appears as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" in the from field of messages from you.
However if you have set a real name as well as part of your address
...eg "Fred Bloggs"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
it is more likely to only be reproduced in a reply as
