Hi Jay,

The nozzles simply aren't firing properly and need a bit of TLC.  I presume
you have tried a head clean but don't do more than two at any one time.
Each successive clean becomes more and more aggressive, consuming more and
more ink as well as giving the nozzles a bit of a bashing.

Next use the head alignment facility to make sure that all is well in that
department.

Unfortunately, a nozzle check isn't really a good indication as to how the
printer is performing - a purge print is much more useful, something like
Printertest.tif on Pixl's site (http://www.pixl.dk).

If you can't find it, email off list and I'll email it to you...

Quite serious.  Your printer needs to be performing at it's optimum when
printing patches.
