Just did some testing on the new Canon D1S and it's pretty amazing quality. Looked far better than images recently captured on the Kodak Pro Back. With this camera (and perhaps some of the newer, larger chips in 35mm bodies), I getting the impression that medium format cameras with those small chips are not the way to go.
