I need to ethernet 2 buildings together on a mac 100baseT network, it will be about 100ftof cable I guess. Are there any limitations to the length of cat 5 cable, do I need anything except regular cable & connectors? Anybody got any spare connectors, etc they want to sell - ie. from having to buy a box of fifty or something?
Whilst on the subject can I have a USB cable configured as follows: 2 mt to USB Hub then 5 mt to printer I have a feeling that 5 mt is the total length allowed.
