My (young, hansome and male) assistant shot with his new S2 for me during a wedding a few weeks ago. It was a late evening wedding and he used the 1600 setting for torch lit procession, chrurch flowers with candels and such like. The results were excellent, far better than shots from my Olympus E10. They were EVEN more useful AFTER he remembered to hit the SAVE button! I would say the quality is better than I used to get during a similar wedding with a Nikon on tripod and 800asa film in it.
