Hi All,
The S2 arrived today and all looks well. It seems there are bodies available from Calumet though the website was saying none in stock. It's been now updated to show that bodies are available. I phoned around and spoke to a really nice salesman in Brum and he said they had some in stock so I ordered mine yesterday and it arrived this afternoon. Haven't been able to test it as I've ordered the CF cards from PowerInNumbers site that was recommended here but they should arrive before the end of this week. I also got the new Nikon 24-85 that was recommended by Rick. Hope to add more as and when the Mrs lets me! About to plunge into the manual (something I never do but I think I'll make an exception this time though I did figure out how to put the lens on! - Canon man, you see...). Just like to say thanks to all who helped me on and off list to make my choice. It was a toss up between the S2 and the D60. Not sure if I can get used to the dinky viewfinder, though. Please tell me it's a joke or there's a switch you flick to make it expand to man size...size does matter - sometimes! Impossible to get a "feel" for the subject when I look through it.
