I have just received my copy of the WMU Profiling Review 3.0 and it's
sure to be of interest to many here. One thing that surprised me was
the use an Epson 5000 and Fiery rip to test out printer profiles....I
seem to recall many posts elsewhere saying how unsatisfactory this
combination was as it would only use the supplied profiles. Maybe this
was the latest offering and improved in this respect. I am sure
someone will be eager to clarify!
One thing I personally found re-assuring was the high marks accorded the
X-rite DTP 92. Reinforces my view that it's always best to buy top
quality kit....does a first rate job and keeps on doing it! Shame
Colorvision were not up to paying the submission fee for an evaluation
of their Optical software!
