With the goal of a 1Ds in mind, I am selling my treasured 50mm f1.0 L USM. It is "The world�s fastest interchangeable SLR lens with a super large maximum aperture. It has two aspherical lens elements and four elements with a high refractive index. Outstanding delineation with minimal flare even at the maximum aperture".
As one photographer poetically put it:- "A very special lens for the very special occasions. Like the tender light at a late evening meal, or a portrait of somebody glancing into the fireplace, flowers north of the Polar Circle lit by midnight sun. Hand held, mind you! You will take pictures with this lens you will not even try at with any other." It is in very good condition with not a mark on the front or rear element. It is supplied with lens hood, leather case and Hoya skylight filter.
