Thanks, Jorge, for your thoughtful post. I don't mean to sound ungrateful
but maybe I should've said that, though I have zero experience of shooting
in CCD-RAW, I do know the advantages and disadvantages.

I fully intend to shoot all my own personal stuff as CCD-RAW and probably
some commissioned stuff too. I am waiting for the plug-in and hope it is
fast and is released "soon."

Well, it's an option. No processing or conversions needed.
