Dear Mark

I have noticed what I have put down to noise on some scans. As they are
often from 8oo ASA negs I have not had any great expectations with regard to
grain and have not had the opportunity to compare with other scanners. I
have therefore not been too concerned but would be very interested if you do
manage to identify any causes.

Was multi sample set ? (It does up to x16 but I am not sure if this helps).

As for the customer care line. I have had reason to call them. It took quite
a few attempts to get through but they did solve the problem.

Regards

Jonathan
