My 18 month old Linocolor 1200 scanner has packed up - not a sign of
life. Having tried a new power supply to no avail it looks like it's
the main logic board which costs more than the current cost of a
replacement scanner.
It really hurts me to throw bits of kit in the bin. If anyone out there
wants a perfectly good working tranny hood for a Linoscan 1200 (you can
currently buy the scanner without a hood for �99) or even the scanner
for bits, then please contact me OFF LIST. Otherwise it will all go in
the bin next Monday.
Just in case you're wondering - I'm going a different scanner route as
the main reason I had for the Linoscan was the Linocolor software - and
they are not going to port that to OSX - more's the pity.
