[PRODIG] Introduction and questions

Hello all

My name is Rycherde (Richard) Walters, I am the technician at the City of Westminster College, London, responsible for the set up, design and installation of the Center of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) Digital Photography.

The center is a new British government initiative to provide industry standard training facilities in New Media, not only for students at colleges but for working professionals who need to further their skills base. We are at present the only facility of it kind in the London area. The center will go live on the 26 March 2003.

After being a "lurker" on this invaluable list since August 2001 and having learnt so much from the informative discussion that takes place, I hope to now know be able to contribute myself.

I have however two questions:

1. We will be using a Imacon Flextight 646 Scanner, does any know what is the correct input profile to start off with? I have looked on the Imacon website under the Input Profile section but all I can find reference to is the Flextight 848 input profiles. We will be having a custom input profile made by Neil Barstow later next month, but I was just wondering if any one knew what would be a good starting point.

2. We have ordered a Fuji Pictorgraphy A3+ printer, and I was wondering if anyone knew if Fuji have released a OSX driver for it yet? I can not see any reference to one on the Fuji websites.
