Hi Otto,
Some early Spyders were not that well manufactured and I had two in a
row, that gave me a very pink "Calibrated" screen. I gather that the
problems have now been fully resolved. The third one has been fine and
certainly, upon receipt of my EyeOne, re-calibrating the screen made
very little difference to the appearance with reference to a know test
print. 

A calibrated/profiled  printer will always give an accurate cross-check.
