I had the same problem when I fist installed the software. I could not see
what it did or how to change the settings.

I run it as a stand alone program, I think there is a way of runing so if
you point Photoshop at a NEF file it will launch automatically. I had that
set once but now Nikon View seems to have taken over.

To launch the program click on the icon of a RGB matrix. You should get a
"MacBibble Status" box and the menues.

File > Browse and point it at a folder of NEF files. Then go back to File>
Options. This opens the General Options box. In this box make sure the
"Preview Options" box is checked.

Then return to the browser box.

Now if you double click any of the thumbnails, the General Options box will
open and you can start playing around with the options. On my machine I need
to make sure that the preview screen has redrawn before changing an option.
If not the program will sulk.

When you are happy with the options click OK and the image is "processed"
Then click File> and choose the save options.

There are also the options for batch processing. Here you need to unclick
the "Preview Option" for unattended processing to the settings you have
chosen. Or keep it clicked so you can adjust each file individually.

There is not much more to the software other than the "General Options"
settings which you need set to all your own prefferences.
