Four short paragraphs a tirade do not make. <G> And I seriously doubt if
Niko Tome could discern quality if it hit him in the face (judging from his
post).

I don't believe he was talking about "discerning buyers" either but
reproducing an image in a high quality magazine. Big difference...It's
perfectly possible to produce high quality images with a 5mpx camera.
Whether a picture library will accept it is another thing. Frankly, I
couldn't care less as I will never put my images into a library.

As I said, if anyone doesn't believe it's possible to do good work with
"low-res" cameras, should view Henri Cartier-Bresson's work. The analogy
here being 35mm being used as opposed to a 10x8" or a 5/6mpx as opposed to a
20+mpx camera. He could easily have used a 6x6 or larger format for
"quality" but didn't. They should also see something like JFK, which won an
Oscar for cinematography but made use of amateur cameras.

'Nuff said.
