-Regarding this thread I've recently had some problems in accessing files on back up CD's written over the last one to three years. The Icon appears as four colour squares in the centre, Photoshop tells me that it's not a P/S file, some of them open in Graphic Converter , others refuse to open. They are written on a variety of CD's, Kodak, Memorex and Verbitim , Mac using different versions of Toast in two different CD Writers. As I back up on a rolling basis, (Half of an archive goes on to the next backup) so far I've not lost any vital files but when!
