We use a Epson 1280 on a Mac network to the community college I teach a digital photo class for. It works fine, with a few quirks. There are 20 computers in the network and if multiple machines send files to be printed within a short time it takes a long time for the server to process them. We have to be patient and wait, unless we get an error message. The server seems to able to handle only so much information. It is speeded up if we flatten all layers and save as Jpegs for printing. Sometimes the printer is not picked up by the machines and we have to go into the chooser and choose another printer, then go back to the chooser and select the Epson again. Usually this re-establishes communication with the printer.
