Dear List At a client of mine's request, a printer has emailed me two output profiles for me to use in my workflow when photographing for this client. The profiles arrived with 'PC' writ large on the icon, not the usual small block of 4 colours seen on icc profile icons. I have a little utility (thanks Neil B) that will make/convert the file into one with the correct icon. This I did, but on placing the profiles into the correct folder, I cannot access them at all through Photoshop. They do not seem to be recognised at all. Any ideas? Have I, in fact, been sent sth which is NOT an icc profile? Am I right in assuming that icc profiles are/should be platform-independent? (Wouldn't be much use if they weren't I guess) Suggestions very gratefully received.
