Hi

My name is Amanda Gray and I am currently trying to break into freelancing,
stock photography etc.

Can anyone help with the problem I set out below ?

I have both Elements (not the newest version) and PhotoShop 5 Limited
Edition on my PC. I mainly use Elements but, as this does not have the
curves adjustment, I use LE for curves. I have noticed that after adjusting
an image in LE with curves if I then open it in Elements the saturation and
contrast are dramatically increased in the screen view of the image. I have
tried printing the same image via each programme and even though the
Elements image is much different on the screen to the one in LE they both
look exactly the same when printed. Fortunately the prints come out the way
they look in LE (i.e. correctly adjusted, not over saturated etc).
Can anyone explain why this should happen and how to fix it? I prefer to
use Elements for most editing as it has better features (e.g. the history
facility) which LE does not have, so simply using LE all the time is not
really an option.

Thanks
