  I will concur with william, as I ^did^ see a difference when I printed
stair-cased lines at 360ppi and then re-sampled to 370ppi (interpolation by
nearest neighbor which did ^not^ alias), and printed again.  That said, and
it being evidence ... when doing the same with photographic images I cannot
detect differences.  However, having seen the evidence I define my film
scans for 360ppi, but I usually do ^not^ hesitate to change the print size
whenever it's needed.
