Good morning, I bought " iLife " for the Mac and when I press the Install icon a message comes up:
"The alias "install" could not be opened because the original item can not be found. I guess you all know why this is and I should take a Mac training course soon. We had over 10 power cuts within 48hrs and the Batt. backup packs bleeped non stop. The building was full with IT managers.- My PC's are ok but I wonder if the Mac got hit? It is a G4 running on OS 9.2 and he (or she?) also can not see Fire Wire devices. The "silver Lining software" from Lacie can see the drives but the "mount" icon is greyed out.
