Not sure if this will help, on the basis you're using the Nikon scanning
s/ware.

Try VueScan?  It has some built in pull down features for various film
stocks, one of which is good old Kodachrome.

The best $40 odd I've spent in a long time. Knocks the socks off the
original drivers.

In fact, I've just dug out a 25yr old K/chrome to give it a try for myself
