<<For anyone interested in digital capture capability you might like to
take a look at this weeks Farmers Weekly (out last Friday). The cover is
from a Canon D30 file which was tightly cropped (farmer with sheep
handling tackle.. well what did you expect! :-) This was from a
horizontal file and 2.8MB of the 9MB tiff "original" . It was sent to FW
as highest quality JPEG after processing from RAW in 16 bit; converted
back to 8 bit after tweaking in levels and curves etc

So slightly less than 1/3 of this file from a "low end" body produced
the cover reasonably well. Jonathan Page staff photographer told me he
step interpolated with Bicubic. He tried Genuine Fractals but bicubic
produced a better result this time

The proof as they say is in the pudding when interpolating these files.
Nothing remarkable about the 9MB producing covers as we have done it
before with FW but 2.8MB of uncompressed data is quite interesting to
see the result so thought i would mention it.
