> Just don't buy anything today. Wait until the coming PhotoMarketing
> Asociation International opens up the coming show in Vegas ( March 5th)...

But, whatever is announced at the show won't actually be released for
another 3 months, so you wait...

At which point you find out that "production difficulties" have held up
actual availability another 3 months, so you wait...

Now, of course you don't want to buy one of the first units off the assembly
line, since they tend to be buggy, so you wait another 3 months...

By which time everybody else in the world has figured out that this is THE
hot camera to buy also, so there's a 3 month waiting list, so you wait...

In the meantime, rumors of an even better model from a competing
manufacturer give you second thoughts, and besides there's the possibility
of getting what you want at a substantial price drop if you just wait
another 3 months...

Moral of the story? Sometimes you're better off ignoring what's rumored, and
making the best deal on something that's sitting on the shelf today. Sure,
the longer a given model has been out, the better the chances the price will
drop soon, and cameras are only going to get better and (relatively)
cheaper, but what are you missing out on while you..... wait?
