I wondered whether this message to the editorialphoto list might be 
of interest to some of our own list members.
I realise that their objectives may be somewhat different to our own, 
but perhaps a joining or sharing of ideas may be useful.

Greetings list.
I have been drafted to chair ASMP's Digital Standards and Practices Project.
We will be identifying and publishing well-reasoned, client-accepted digital
photography business practices.

I have put up a web page with write-ups of the practices that we feel are
most applicable for inclusion in the finished product.  Please feel free to
send us contact information on anyone who has solid business practices that
might be included.
Some of the practices that we have identified, such as the Digital Slide
Mount, can be put into service right away.  I have been using it for a while,
and am now reluctant to send out digital images without it.
I look forward to hearing from anyone with good stuff to add.
