I have not seen the particular file you refer too, but I have prints here
from test files (from P1 CDs) going back to the late 90s and they are all
excellent. I suspect a dodgy file not a poor back. My work has changed from
predominantly studio based work in the 90s to 95% location work in the last
few years, so I never did get one of their backs. However I am now using
Capture One DSLR for my RAW conversion and it gives me a better file than
anything on the market ( I have recently tried and rejected the Adobe
offering due to bad moir� etc etc).
