Morning,

I have been having great success of late with my Epson 7600
Ultrachrome printer, but continue to struggle with shadow
detail and feel I can get better saturation in some of the
colours. Speaking with Unisource locally, they are confident
that the addition of a RIP, specifically the Onyx RipCentre
would help tremendously and manage the amount of ink hitting
the paper infinitely better than the native Epson driver.

I am hoping to setup a local demonstration in my studio with
Onyx in the near future. Any thoughts on RIPs in general
with the 7600/9600 series? The Onyx RipCentre? Prediction on
when winter will finally end this year?

For colour calibration, I am using ColorVision Spyder for
monitor calibration, and ProfilerPro / DoctorPro with the
Colorsavvy CM2C Spectrocolorimeter for paper / ink
profiling.

Cheers,
