I'm about to make the leap to OSX, and while I'm happy that most of my peripherals will work, I'm worried about connecting a serial Epson 5000 via a keyspan USB to serial adapter.
According to Epson, they make a USB EPSON Smart cable that will allow you to dispense with the adaptor. For more information I'd suggest you mail Andrea Holder at Epson.

Whilst you writing, ask them when they propose to supply OSX drivers. Last October they promised this February but they didn't deliver. Mind you in February 2002 they promised April, so no surprise there really.
