Has anyone got any opinion on the safety of wi-fi, 802.11.
I have read that it uses the same frequency as your average home microwave but at less than 1 watt. If you work in an environment with this on all day, every day is it going to have any effects on one's health? Would it be better to have ethernet cabling instead?

I doubt it's any more - and probably a lot less - dangerous then a mobile phone. It doesn't SEEM to have effected me over the last 6 months (others may think differently) but I suppose I won't know for many years to come.
