just thought I'd chime in...
d65?...might produce a 'blue-sloped' profile. Perhaps this is where the 'blues' come from.
...or perhaps there is a fluorescence issue at work here. Ex. I've found with the OCE PGPSatin paper that even though the white point settles on -7 b-channel, which calls for optical brightener correction, not using the correction gives me a profile which matches output to my other medias. Using OC introduces a blue appearance under any lighting condition which exceeds 5500k. For our white bond 16gram paper the opposite is more or less true.
(Same AdobeRGB file, relative colormetric BPC-on conversion to six different media profiles: d50/2 degree observers. I'm just about to the point where I'll be comparing targets. I'll let you know how the dE turns out...)
