Please keep us posted Mike, I had already written it off having viewed the luminous landscape review / site and was s o diappointed, are you saying that your one does not exhibit such bad noise in the shadows etc. There was an image of a book case on the second page of this review with a crop in on a couple of books and the noise and softness of the Kodak compared to the 1ds was frightening! The 1ds image just blew the kodak away.
