The systtem as is will not recognized a drive larger than 137gb in capacity..this is a ATA bus
limitation. If you install a 160 gb drive it would only see 137gb., But it works ok. You can install
a Super ATA controller board in PCI slot and then any capacity drive will work. Currently Western Digital has 160 GB drive that come with a controller card free.

I was told that there is no limit to the size of a hard drive fitted to a G4 867 Dual: only thing is, Apple say that that it should be fitted by an authorised Apple technician to avoid voiding the warranty!
