Hello Prodigers, I'm reviewing my A3 scanner situation.... Currently using Umax Powerlook 2100XL with Magicscan. I'm OK with the results, but the software sucks and its a full on effort to get there..... Does anyone on the list have any experiences with the recentish A3 Scanmaker 9800XL bundled with Silverfast 7 ? I've spent quite some time at the Silverfast site and it looks good ! Are there any downers ? I'll be using the scanner for Flat-bed work and full size negative 'contacts'. Any user experience / info on the 9800XL or Silverfast would be gratefully appreciated (100% Tax offset ends on Monday - Gotta get the order in before then !). Best wishes, David
