I'm wanting to buy one of these printers soon to do pretty much exactly what you're doing. I'm torn between getting a 7600 and something like the ImagePrint RIP to go with it; or the larger 9600 and stick with Epson software. I've demoed ImagePrint on other Epsons and it's wonderful. But if I can get by with Epson's native software I'd like (but don't really NEED) the capability of the larger printer. Its about the same cost either way. My biggest concern is how pure grayscale images... or images with predominantly near neutral tones will print. What software are you printing with? Standard Epson driver or a third party RIP? Which ink set and media?
