I sent my Microtek 4000t back to the importers in February for repair. At the time it was about 2 years and one month old, unfortunately around 30 days past the guarantee date. It is now June and it is still sitting on a shelf in Newcastle-under-Lyme gathering dust, the spare parts being unavailable from the suppliers in Belgium.
It's got to the point where I probably have to accept that it is now dead, which is not good for a piece of kit which at the time cost �750. In a last ditch effort I thought there may be someone who knows an independent repairer who can fix an internal power supply ( I don't believe you can't buy a replacement part from a third party company). Otherwise it looks like a new one ( and profiles!)
