Here's a weird one: Running OS X 10.2.3 on Ti Powerbook, calibrated with
EyeOne Match 2.0.

If I open an image (jpg) within Canon's Image Browser (untagged), and open
the same image in Photoshop 7 or 6 (untagged and no conversion) the image
under PS looks much more red/magenta. If I choose a monitor profile NOT
built by Match, ie...with Apple's Display Calibrator or the generic Color
LCD profile, the images look identical; the color of the screen is
consistent between both programs with an un-managed color file, as one would
expect. What is it with the Match profile that Photoshop is compensating
for, almost like the old Monitor Compensation check box?

What makes it hard is working on location, and trying to determine which
view of the image is more accurate.
