HelloHi Simon. With regard to Neils reply to your questions I agree with him entirely. I've used a profiled Lyson bulk system on a 1290 for about 8 months with no problems. The most tangible differences are the better more vibrant colour. Epson prints look flat in comparison, as they should because they have a narrower colour range than the Lysons. It is a much cheaper way of working than keep buying single cartridges. There are six individual bottles-for a 1290-so you won't waste the rest of the ink if you do say 300 predominantly red prints One big print run will pay for the initial outlay of the system. The profile is not icing on the cake either. It's a major part of the quality.
Im am spending a lot of dosh on inkjet cartridges for prints for my Epson. I
was wondering if any members had tried any of the cheaper generic brands and
had an opinion on their quality.
