None of the MS Windows PC software for classic Mac HFS volume reading (CD,
ZIP) software that I have tried can read fonts - the engineers are working
on it (I have tried the 'big 3' names).

BTW -Nor can they write a Mac CD ROM, but I think that some can format a Mac
ZIP on the PC.

So if you are PC based and in publishing and send data in both directions to
Mac clients and need to fit in seamlessly - it can be hard if you don't have
a Mac - as fonts and Mac HFS volume format is quite often critical for a
productive workflow (I could cheerfully strangle the person who used to work
for my company who archived a whole bunch of CD's in the studio as
ISO-9660 - but did not have any extensions on the filenames, now it is a big
stuff around to find files due to truncated names and when you find them it
is a chore to open them in the right application <g>).
