I am more than happy to increase the file size that can be uploaded and
have increased this to 200Kb as a starter. This should allow 2Mb files
to be compressed at around jpg quality 10 depending on the subject
matter. Please note that clicking the thumbnail will reveal a 500 pixel
resized intermediate image and clicking on that will call the full size
file. (Those who wish to can now critique my scrap image in much greater
detail!)

Remember also that not everyone enjoys the luxury of broadband!

May I also suggest that users crop to the relevant detail wherever
possible which would allow higher resolution to be transferred.

My thanks to Richard for covering my corner whilst I was away for the
weekend.
