A couple of years ago the BJP did a test of several of these programs and I believe VF Zoom came out just infront. There is also S Spline, nice program, cheap, works well but currently it seems a bit slow and can crash with mac OS X.2.6, works great in classic. The other option is to do stair interpolation in photoshop, Fred Miranda makes a free photoshop action for this (I use SI a lot and have not found much difference between this and the more expensive programs..not really a very scientific test though!!). Also a well known manufacturer of photoshop plugins is currently beta testing a definite rival to GF which should be out later this year, can't say anymore or they might send the boys round but think it will be worth waiting for..
