Doesn't appear to be a date on that article. So when he quotes that "no mac
currently shipping can support drives over 127GB", its probably inaccurate.

I have a G4 Dual 1.25 Mirror Door, (last seasons model, not the current one
:-) I just installed (two weeks ago) a 200Gb WD2000JB, without any
problems. Drive reads at about 180Gb or thereabouts, which is about rights
considering you always loose some space when formatting.

This model G4 has three ATA busses (ASFAIK) two of which are for the hard
drives (4 max). The two hard drive busses are ATA 66 and ATA100. The ones at
the rear are the ATA100 one's. (as someone pointed out recently, its stated
in the manual, which of course I never read ;-) My 200Gb drive is
connected to the ATA100 bus.

he probably has lots of info on max sizes of hard drives and how to get
around the problems you are having.
