The repro company would want them as Jpeg EPS to save space and to save sending hi res 
Tiff files to the rip, they probaly don't want jpegs because historically the rip 
couldn't process them properly (and didn't quark not support jpeg without an extension 
in early versions??).

However, the jpeg-ed EPS still has inherent problems of artifacting that a standard 
jpeg has!
