Hi all Many members of the list were kind enough to help with interest and comments on my dissertation on the digital copying of watercolour paintings. I hasten to say it was a learning exercise, and doesn't provide any instant answers or conclusions. I ended up feeling I'd really only scratched the surface, and was taking the first few hesitant steps in colour science. Really I suspect other methods might be better if you don't have research lab facilities. However it did involve extensive background research and reading, so the comprehensive references might be useful to some.
