Just thought I'd add that i have a an epson 730 which i've used for a 
couple of years as a home cinema projector, you need to make a 
distinction between this and classroom use. Too many lumens make it 
impossible to get a good cinema image (the converse of the need to 
project in bright rooms), I would consider mine to be on the edge of 
practical use for cinema.
Screen material and room are also paramount.
