It depends what machine you are going to read the CD with. For any recent version of Windows (95, ME, 2000, XP) you can use the "Joliet (MS-DOS and Windows" setting, otherwise you'll be restricted to filenames that follow the old "8.3" MS-DOS naming convention. If you are only ever going to want to read the CD on a Mac, don't write an ISO-9660 CD at all, write a Mac OS CD and you'll keep all your icons and resource forks for the files.
