I'm also presently having an exhibition of same in the offices of a local architect firm. While I did not expect much in the way of sales, I found it interesting in terms of limited exposure and name recongnition.
I have also spoken to artists who have done such exhibition in the past and some have reported that if it is kept short, six weeks at the most then they call it genuine. Longer than that, they are inclined to see it as way for the host to get free art into their office! As for exposure, who will have access to the exhibition ? Employees, clients, the public. Will the work be exhibited in private office or in the halls ? And in case of loss (fire, theft) who carries insurance ?
