I too have lurked far too long on this list learning masses.
I shoot food and lifestyle images - mostly for magazines or editorial looking advertising but am still being confined to using film for magazines. The art directors I work with either have no wish to engage with new methods or have tried once, had a bad experience and have decided to try no more.
Consequently my digital experience is in scanning for folios and the Contact book etc and using digital cameras for some location jobs or personal work. Currently I have an Olympus E10, Olympus 3030 and Minolta f300.
Thanks to the list and much experimentation however, I feel very ready to take on more digital work when I can eventually persuade my conservative clients to change.
