Yes, Jorge, the files were AdobeRGB, but one would have thought that a professional lab would see the tag and convert to whatever profile their machine uses. I'm more concerned about the burnt out areas of the face (I can achieve a similar effect on screen if I pull the right hand slider in Photoshop Levels in to 225. This also warms the image, making it look similar in terms of the 'orange-y' tone).
I've taken a few files to Boots (local pharmacy with a one hour photo - actually as their machine's broken, two day photo). I converted these to sRGB myself. Phil Heywood has also kindly printed a sample. It will be interesting to compare all 3 prints.
